hours grow cumbersome in
a futile, infertile mind.
confidently she waits for some big revelation
knowing that time, if nothing else,
will wield inspiration
out of her mundane, everyday experience.
racking her brain for another grand metaphor, she
keels over as though thinking deepish thoughts.
