perception
Time takes flight;
in reverie alights.
Care and wiles, in a moment forgot
where vivid dreams dance, casting dreary shadows out.
Not a minute to lose! In the second breath out,
the clock ticks tar again: time's motion
trickles to distortion.
Perception.
